Pay your bills straight from your Outlook inbox via Microsoft Pay

Build 2018 brought a lot of exciting news and Microsoft did not disappoint its fans. Among the many novelties, there’s also the fact that the tech giant plans to mix Microsoft Pay and Outlook inbox. Forget the hassle of paying bills via complicated projects and having to hop over to different websites and services to get things done.

Pay bills straight from your inbox

The integration which will happen rather sooner than later will let you use Microsoft Pay to pay bills and invoices that you receive in your email directly from the inbox. Users will be able to complete this process without having to switch to various services and websites. Microsoft details the process on its official blog.

Many emails in your inbox revolve around completing payment transactions such as paying a bill or invoice.  We will soon be introducing payments in Outlook to help users to pay bills or invoices, right in the email, without needing to switch to another app or service.   Powered by Microsoft Pay, payments in Outlook is a fast and secure way to pay from within the email.

Microsoft also offers more information about its adaptive cards in Outlook. The new cards will be available across various services, and they’ll allow developers to embed context-sensitive actions in messages.

Payments in Outlook will roll out gradually

The rollout process will be a gradual one, says Microsoft and it will start with a few Outlook users in the coming weeks. Over the next few months, payments will begin rolling out to a broader audience.
